America's Army is a round- and team-based tactical shooter with a gameplay similar to Counter-Strike, with the player depicted as a soldier in the U.S. Army. AA is relatively authentic in terms of visual and acoustic representation of combat, especially pertaining to its depictions of firearm usage and mechanics which gives the game a sense of
realism.
